British American Tobacco PLC

2003--2004

The implementation of a distribution network analysis system as well as a system of settlements with entities providing distribution services for the British American Tobacco PLC.

Design and implementation of a system processing sales & stock data from warehouses belonging to the distribution network related to sales data. The project comprises developing a central data base, which is populated with information on the retail data level. The data is later on processed in order to generate quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis related to distribution network, presenting them in the form of reports and generating payments resulting from the recorded results. The project also includes the implementation of a graphic interface presenting collected and aggregated data , administration interface and reporting system for distributed users.

Implementation of an invoice printing system for a Xerox customer from the energy sector.

BAKK participated as a subcontractor of an invoice printing system for a major company from the utilities sector. Our services covered the full designing cycle, analysis, designing of data base structures, implementation of data base structures, integration with the settlement system, testing the entire solution. Moreover, untypically for a subcontractor role, BAKK was also responsible for managing the project.

BPW is a German company that specialises in heavy duty truck components and spare parts. We are building a centralized warehouse and sales system for Polish subsidiary of BPW -- BPW Polska. Analytic phase of the project has just been finished, now we are staring the development itself.

Kontrakt Financial Services PLC

Kontrakt PLC is a finance distribution company that works for HypoVereinsBank, Sampo and Hestia. Kontrakt has a well established network of offices around all country and employs over 1500 field officers. BAKK has built a system for commission calculation for all employees of Kontrakt. Our system bases on set of rules stored in system in a form of meta-data and therefore provides high flexibility needed on a fluctuating finance market in Poland.

ERA GSM (Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa Ltd.)

We have conducted a successful project of data warehouse of billing data for leading Polish GSM operator (ERA GSM has around 5 million customers). We have implemented a data warehouse loaded with data originating from multiple sources: most important billing system, other relational databases and flat files. Our datawarehouse is loaded with daily level of data, then the system aggregates it. Another part of the system is graphical user interface that is used to present gathered and aggregateds data. The reports are stored in a central repository that enables sharing of reports among users.

Design & implementation of operational CRM: gathering & recording the customer-facing actions, support of creating new actions: customer filtering by a sophisticated system of complex conditions, analysis of effects of actions and efficiency of employees.

Design & implementation of internet customer interface, that allows to perform interactive contact with customers, including e-commerce, presentation of offer. Second phase of project was to integrate the internet application with back-office system of sales and warehouse.

Design & implementation of sales and warehouse application. System is enabled to support direct sales via Callcenter.
